This website is operated by NZ Business Alliance (alliance.org.nz). We collect and handle personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

If you join our mailing list or contact us, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address and business name. Like most websites, we also collect standard analytics data (pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location) through Google Analytics.

How we use it

We use your contact details to send you the content you signed up for — tips, updates and (in future) member deals. We use analytics data to understand what content is useful and improve the site. We don’t sell your information to anyone.

Cookies

This site uses cookies for analytics and, if you log in or comment, to remember your preferences. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

The Alliance assistant

When you use the assistant, your questions are sent to our website host, Cloudflare, and answered by an AI model running on Cloudflare Workers AI. We don't ask for your name to use it, and we don't keep chat transcripts. Please don't type private customer details or anything confidential into it. Answers are generated automatically and can be wrong, so check anything important.

Forms on this site

If you join or send us a message, we store the details you enter (name, email, business name and message) in a database hosted by Cloudflare so we can reply and send the emails you asked for.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. To make a request, email hello@alliance.org.nz.

Third-party services

We use trusted third-party services to run this site, including Google Analytics (analytics) and our email provider (mailing list). Each handles data under its own privacy policy.
